The 8X® Ultimate Cut Grade was created to single out the very best diamonds. While most round brilliant diamonds on the market already carry an “excellent” cut grade, fewer than 1% earn 8X, which requires excellence across eight separate aspects of cut quality, from polish and symmetry to brilliance, fire and scintillation.
The brief was to compare top-grade diamond cutting with heavy luxury haute couture, complete with models and runways. Like a couture piece, a diamond with an 8X certificate is a rare work of craftsmanship whose authenticity and exceptional quality are officially confirmed.
I directed and art-directed the film with AI, bringing the world of couture runways into a presentation about diamond grading.
