Arrival. Suitable for the Earth
A brand platform for electric van maker Arrival, built around its own eco-mark, Suitable for the Earth, which businesses running Arrival vans could display as a sign of their commitment to a cleaner economy.
Arrival was a British company that developed purpose-built electric vans and buses for commercial fleets, produced in compact, highly automated microfactories and backed by investors such as Hyundai and UPS.
The commercial EV market was booming and already starting to sound the same, with every brand promising zero emissions, lower costs and a revolution in transport, so that the only real difference between them was the logo. Arrival needed a platform that would make it unforgettable for B2B decision-makers, from fleet managers and CEOs to sustainability-driven business owners, by turning cold rational benefits into something warm, human and impossible to copy. The same platform also had to help attract investment from crypto enthusiasts.
Everywhere we look there are certification labels telling us a product is safe for kids, suitable for vegans or kind to pets, covering almost anything people care about, and brands use them as a quick way of saying they do no harm. Yet there was no such mark for businesses that cut their emissions by switching to electric fleets.
We made Arrival the first commercial EV brand with its own eco-mark, Suitable for the Earth. Every business running Arrival vans could proudly display it on products, packaging and websites as a sign that it belongs to a cleaner, smarter and more responsible economy, so that a fleet decision became something customers could actually see. The full line, Suitable for the Earth. Useful for People, brought both sides of the promise together.
